Half Moon Bay 1 day, 5 hours agoJetty tomorrow. Should be sunny, friendly swell, semi-choppy, 10mph+ wind, water is close to 50 with windchill… wetpants advised.

Half Moon Bay 3 weeks, 4 days agoPoint-to-point from Dunes to Kelly on Sunday at 11. Prediction is for semi glassy(ish) conditions. We’ll meet at Kelly parking at 10:40. This might still get canceled due to water quality concerns so stay tuned.

OK, the sunscreen was somewhat optimistic but we did have the windchill so all was not lost! Lezlee and Nicole braved it. I needed no icepack after this one.

It took me quite a while to thaw out in the hot tub when I got home…you REALLY should have come over!

Half Moon Bay 1 month, 2 weeks agoJetty on Friday at 2 pm. The swell will be fat with good wind-hug to help out. Prepare to not to swim if it’s too rough. You can still get hot chocolate for taking pictures.

A slight change in plans. We’ll meet at 11:30 tomorrow at the Kelly parking. Our water quality experts (John and Nicole) gave their OK, so it’s a go.
The Hot Tub on kelly is available for all! (AFTER THE SWIM!)
Well, this was one of the best ones. From Roosevelt to Kelly, sunshine, mostly glassy, slight tail wind, happy landing.
